ABBA是瑞典的流行组合，成立于1973年。成员包括：比约恩·奥瓦尔斯（Bjorn Ulvaeus，1945年4月25日生于哥德堡）、本尼·安德森（Benny Andersson，1946年12月16日生于斯德哥尔摩）、阿格妮莎·福斯克格（Agnetha Faltskog，1950年4月5日生于乔克平）、安妮-弗瑞德·林斯塔德（Anni-Frid Lyngstad，1954年11月15日生于挪威的纳尔维克）。在成立乐队前，安妮和阿格妮莎已是瑞典颇有名气的独唱演员，比约恩属于 Hootenanny演唱组，本尼是Hep Stars乐队的成员。后来，本尼和安妮、比约恩和阿格妮莎分别结成夫妻，并用每个人名字的第一个字母组成ABBA乐队。

比约恩和阿格妮莎在1979年离婚，本尼和安妮在1981年离婚。1982年，演唱组随之解体。菲尔·柯林斯（PHIL COLLINS）为安妮制作了个人专辑《Something's Going There's Something Going On》上升到英国单曲榜第43名；由迈克·查普曼（Mike Chapman）为阿格妮莎制作的《Can't Shake Loose》在1983年达到美国单曲榜第29名。乐队在九十年代重组，并在1999年初到北京演出。

为什么ABBA获得如此巨大的成功？首先，也是最重要的，ABBA的歌曲总是令人愉快，它的旋律与节奏无时无时无刻传递着人类最为普遍的快乐幸福之感。其次，七十个代的瑞典正是处于高福利社会的巅峰状态，整个社会环境非常好，人民物质生活相当优越，社会保障制度十分健全，而ABBA的出现正是适逢其时，那种快乐轻松息在的气氛立即在听众中得到共鸣，而事实上，人人都有不会拒绝生活在轻松快乐的气氛中。ABBA并没有什么深刻道理，也没揭示什么社会重大问题，它只是让你的紧张的生活工作学习之余得到放松满足，并且心情愉快，流行音乐还能做到怎样呢？不是有太多的歌曲连这也远远做不到吗？流行音乐中听了十多年而未厌倦的似乎只有ABBA，ABBA实在是太好了，谁要是拒绝ABBA那绝对是不可理解的，虽然说这句话说得有些霸道，但面对轻松的生活，快乐的歌曲如果说去认为这样不好，那简直是要折磨自己才行。瑞典给人很好的印象很大程度上应归功于ABBA。许多时候，也许我们在精神上获得一点点快乐都是很难很难的事了，如果ABBA给了我们机会得到愉悦，为什么不要呢？

New museum in Stockholm for ABBA

A new museum in the memory of the Swedish music quartet ABBA will be built next to the amusement park Gröna Lund. This writes Dagens Nyheter today.

It will be called ´ABBA - the Museum´. But it will take some years for it to start. The objects which will be exhibited on the museum will be sent on a ´world tour´ first.

The reason according to Dagens Nyheter for this world tour of musei objects is that ABBA as a brand is something hot right now when the Mama Mia show is successful around the world.

The musei world tour and naturally the museum in Stockholm later on will include around 1000 different ABBA objects. Instruments, records, clothes from the world tours etc and some objects which has never becore been expoused before will be exhibited.

The place next to Gröna Lund was originally planned to be a museum for Evert Taube, the Swedish classical poet/singer. Now it became ABBA instead.
